Free BBQ Business Forms and Documents

FormTo assist NBBQA’s Operator and Trade Partner members with their businesses, we’ve created the BBQ Resource Center-an online clearinghouse of barbecue related documents and images. Among the items in the Resources Center are several operational templates and samples that can be used by restaurateurs, caterers or anyone engaged in the business of barbecue. Why create your own forms when your fellow members already have? From kitchen prep schedules to social media checklists, the NBBQA website is loaded with useful resources.

Get your free business documents and all the other benefits of membership by logging into the Members Only section of our website. If you’re already a NBBQA member, you automatically have an online profile. But if you haven’t created your member password yet (or don’t remember what it is) you’ll need to set that up to access your benefits online. It’s quick and easy; just click on “Forgot Your Password?” when logging in.

At Home, Smoke Still Rules for NBBQA Members

According to the 2012 NBBQA Membership Survey, smoky goodness is still king for our members. Whether it’s from wood, charcoal or pellets, almost two-thirds prefer to bring the smoke when cooking at home.

Statistics from the Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association indicate that gas grills have outsold charcoal grills since the mid-90′s and currently make up 57% of all grill and smoker shipments in North America. However, charcoal continues to be quite popular with many NBBQA members; 44% percent use it as their primary heating source when at home. Wood even edges out gas for second place. Electric grills, however, barely register with either our members or the general public. According to Weber’s 2011 GrillWatch Survey™, only 4% of Americans even own an outdoor electric grill-a figure in line with our own survey results.

What is your primary heating source for grilling or barbecuing at home?
