We returned home from Cumming, GA today, it was a great contest, want to Congratulate Bub-Ba-Q on GC and Cool Smoke on RGC, and to all who received a call, it was a tough crowd of 92 teams, we finished 15th overall, not as well as we would of liked, but we were happy with what we turned in and those were the judges results. We would recommend this contest to anyone that wants to venture to Georgia in November, top notch !!!
Thank you to everybody for the congrats. It is a very humbling win for me and I am very honored to have accomplished it. It was important on several levels. It was a very tight finish with Tuffy Stone as he and I have been doing so many times this year. I think that everybody that walked this weekend needs to be proud. I do hope that if you have a chance to please let Randall Glenn Bowman know how much you enjoyed the contest, I feel that it was a huge success and am looking forward to next year.
Back home from Cumming, Ga. Randall Glenn Bowman and the rest of the team put on an amazing contest! Some many great things they did to make this event special! I appreciate all the congrats, texts, and phone calls! We were very happy to take Reserve Grand Champion behind William Bubba Latimer by .57 its. We have had quite a year competing against each other and just in the last few weeks we have alternated between GC and RGC three times.
