If the Teams are paying all the bills then the teams aught to be in on the show!
Invest in The BBQ Teams Super Fund and lets raise enough money to start our own Mega show where you pay like usual to get in but teams split 50% of the ticket sales!! Your BBQ by vending will draw them there along with BBQSuperStars doing a whole lot of magic!!
We Charge $10 dollars a person For Adults
$2 Children under 15
Distribution of Ticket Sales:
50% of the gate goes back to the teams and the sanctioning Body (sanctioning body gets a share like a team they still get their fee for sanctioning regionally all sanctioning bodies will be included)
8% to the organizer on the ground like “Smoke on the Water”
10% to the City we have the event in
10% to the Charity of Choice
20% back to The BBQ Team Super Fund
2% to The National BBQ Association for providing rankings across the country
100% under our control, invested team come to town meeting type board meetings, we’ll have to have a big party afterwards. Board Members elected every 2 years so we don’t have to do that every year. 1 800 number for complaints and problems.
The Goal per show no less than 100,000 adult tickets sold and BBQSuperStars will almost be able to guarantee that!!

We have to build and organization around this.
What would a team get at a competition?
1. Team has to pay for the space and buy their supplies as usual.
2. Team gets to vend automatically, not required but a choice.
3. Team gets its share of the ticket sales. No more than 100 team will be allowed and based on current National BBQ Association Rankings, or number of contest in the previous year.
a. 40 or more contest previous year automatic bid into contes
b. 30 or more behind 40 or more teams
c.20 or more behind 30 or more
d. National BBQ Association Rankings only top team behind 20 or more contest in the previous year will get in.
If 1000 teams invest $1000 that is 1 million dollars, lets get our first BBQSuperStars Mega BBQ Conest going!
I will guarantee at least 100,000 people in attendance at a minimum. After the event every team competing will want to upgrade your rigs, your logo’s and get commercial your all going to be huge Stars!!
We can do this all we have to do is work together.
I want to hire a CPA Firm to handle all the funds
A Law Firm to set this all up correctly, everyone who invest will get a statement of The BBQ Super Fund Every month.
Down the Road, Teams that serve The Super Fund well we’ll have to get retirement plans together, A BBQ Teams Association Formed, just like a players assoication, A BBQ Teams Association. We could do that now.
When the fund gets up to 20 million dollars we will be able to fund every contest in America guaranteeing at every contest everyone gets to sell everything they want, everyone gets to participate who wants to, cancel a lot of politics.
A local contest wants to borrow the money to fund there contest from The BBQ Teams Super Fund. We do it 6 months in advance. We have paper work to be filled out accountability system in place money is sent out after the contest is over hopefully with the space rentals and ticket sales the contest can pay the money back and keep what ever is profit for charities and who ever.
Grants for contest will be done after the fund gets over 5 million. If it is totally a charity event and the board votes favorable then we send the money out as a grant.
There will have to be a whole set of legal rules made out by a team of lawyers and a system put in place to organize it.
Once we get at least 20 contest we want to form a bracket like the March Madness
We want to build the board up to 64 contests 10 teams from each contest move on till the final 20 teams reach The Super Bowl of BBQ, The top 2 teams do a finals day throw down to win The World Championship we could do this one at The Jack Daniel’s. That is the Baddest show of them all. Jack and Coke!!
